  1. How do I post a job/internship? [ top ]
    1. Hover the cursor over the “Featured Jobs" tab (4th from the left)
    2. Click on “Create a New Post”
    3. Select your organization from the pull-down menu
    4. Enter the job/internship title in the Post Title field
    5. Enter the job description and all other relevant info in the Post Body field

        1. Position Type (FT. PT, Internship/Co-Op and Temporary/Seasonal

  2. How do I remove or edit a job/internship posting? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Manage Posts"
    3. Each posting has two available actions: "Edit" and "Delete"
  3. How do I search student profiles for candidates? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Search" field in the top, right-hand corner of the homepage
    2. Enter search words (school major, industry term, etc.) in the Search field
    3. Select "Entire Site"
    4. Hit "enter" or click on "search"

  5. What are the guidelines for article postings? [ top ]
    1. We prefer articles written by the poster, on topics related to career development. Our current article sections are Career Tips, Interviewing, Networking, Job Search Strategies and Alumni Advice.

  7. Can I post events for my company? [ top ]
    1. Yes. Any events relating to recruiting or career development can be posted.

    1. Go to the "Events" tab (5th from left)
    2. Click on “Create a New Post”
    3. Select your organization from the pull-down menu
    4. Enter the event title in the Post Title field
    5. Enter the event information in the Post Body field

  10. How do I upload or change my company's logo? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Edit Profile"
    3. Click on “Upload New Logo”
  11. How do I upload a video? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Manage Videos"
    3. Click on "Post A New Video"
    4. Type the video’s title in the Video Title field
    5. Type a brief description in the Description field
    6. Click the "Browse" button to locate the file
    7. Click the "Submit" button
    8. Note:Videos must be in FLV (.flv) format and must be no larger than 32MB
  12. How do I remove a video? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Manage Videos"
    3. Each video has a "Delete" action available

  1. How do I search for jobs/internships? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Search" field in the top, right-hand corner of the homepage
    2. Enter search words (school major, industry term, etc.) in the Search field
    3. Select "Entire Site" or “Employers”
    4. Hit "enter" or click on "search"

    7. The three most recently posted jobs/internships will appear
    8. To see all jobs, go to the SEE ALL JOBS IN section on the right
    9. Job/Internship postings are archived by month, and each month listed is hyperlinked to show its daily postings (from newest to oldest)
  2. How do I apply for jobs/internships? [ top ]
    1. Each job/internship posting should have directions on how to apply. Please follow the application directions for each individual employer.
  3. How do I post my resume? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Edit Profile"
    3. Click on “Upload my Resume”
  4. How do I sign up for an event? [ top ]
    1. Please follow the RSVP directions posted for each individual event.
  5. Can I upload a personalized logo to my profile? [ top ]
    1. No. All students will have their own school logo appear on their profile
  6. How do I contact an employer I’m interested in? [ top ]
    1. Some recruiters do not wish to be contacted directly. If available, contact information is listed on each employer’s profile.
    2. CAREER15 employers will have the opportunity to participate in live blogging sessions. Please check the Event section of this website for dates/times of these sessions.
    3. CAREER15 employers may respond to comments posted under their job/internship entries.

  1. How do I update my profile? [ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Edit Profile"
    3. Each section has its own "Submit" button, click the corresponding "Submit" button for each section you update.
  2. How do I remove my profile?[ top ]
    1. Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
    2. Select "Edit Profile"
    3. Click “Cancel My Account”
  3. How do I "Spotlight" my profile? [ top ]
    1. Student and Employer profiles will be spotlighted randomly (through the website’s underlying system) during the initial launch period. There may be opportunities in the future to spotlight profiles upon request.
  4. Can I control who sees my profile? [ top ]
    1. Student profiles can only be viewed by employers, not other students
    2. Employer profiles can be viewed by anyone registered to use the website
  5. What are the system requirements to play videos? [ top ]
    1. To play videos, you will need the Adobe Flash pluginis required.
  6. How do I report someone who is posting inappropriate comments? [ top ]
    1. Email the name on the profile to career15@vfic.org
  7. How do I follow CAREER15 on Facebook? [ top ]
    1. 1. Click once on the "Face Book" icon at the bottom of the homepage.
    2. Log into your Face Book account and request to become a fan of CAREER15
  8. How do I follow CAREER15 on Twitter? [ top ]
    1. Click once on the "Twitter" icon at the bottom of the homepage.
    2. Log into your Twitter account and request to follow CAREER15
  9. How do I join CAREER15’s LinkedIn group? [ top ]
    1. Log into your LinkedIn account
    2. Search for CAREER15 under "groups"
    3. Requests to join the group will go through an approval process, which may take up to 5 business days
