Questions that Employers might ask:
- How do I post a job/internship? [ top ]
- Hover the cursor over the “Featured Jobs" tab (4th from the left)
- Click on “Create a New Post”
- Select your organization from the pull-down menu
- Enter the job/internship title in the Post Title field
- Enter the job description and all other relevant info in the Post Body field
- At a minimum, please include:
- Position Type (FT. PT, Internship/Co-Op and Temporary/Seasonal
- Position Description
- Location

- Enter search words (school major, industry term, etc.) in the Search field
- Select "Entire Site"

- We prefer articles written by the poster, on topics related to career development. Our current article sections are Career Tips, Interviewing, Networking, Job Search Strategies and Alumni Advice.
- How do I remove or edit an article? [ top ]

- Each posting has two available actions: "Edit" and "Delete"
- Can I post events for my company? [ top ]
- Yes. Any events relating to recruiting or career development can be posted.
- How do I post an event? [ top ]
- Go to the "Events" tab (5th from left)
- Click on “Create a New Post”
- Select your organization from the pull-down menu
- Enter the event title in the Post Title field
- Enter the event information in the Post Body field *To cut/paste from word, use the "paste from word" button on the toolbar

- How do I upload or change my company's logo? [ top ]

- Select "Edit Profile"
- Click on “Upload New Logo”
- How do I upload a video? [ top ]

- Select "Manage Videos"
- Click on "Post A New Video"
- Type the video’s title in the Video Title field
- Type a brief description in the Description field
- Click the "Browse" button to locate the file
- Click the "Submit" button
- Note:Videos must be in FLV (.flv) format and must be no larger than 32MB

- Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
- Select "Manage Videos"
- Each video has a "Delete" action available

- How do I search for jobs/internships? [ top ]
- Go to the "Search" field in the top, right-hand corner of the homepage
- Enter search words (school major, industry term, etc.) in the Search field
- Select "Entire Site" or “Employers”
- Hit "enter" or click on "search"
- Click on the “Featured Jobs” tab
- The three most recently posted jobs/internships will appear
- To see all jobs, go to the SEE ALL JOBS IN section on the right
- Job/Internship postings are archived by month, and each month listed is hyperlinked to show its daily postings (from newest to oldest)

- Each job/internship posting should have directions on how to apply. Please follow the application directions for each individual employer.
- How do I post my resume? [ top ]
- Go to the "Account" tab (2nd from right)
- Select "Edit Profile"
- Click on “Upload my Resume”
- How do I sign up for an event? [ top ]
- Please follow the RSVP directions posted for each individual event.
- Can I upload a personalized logo to my profile? [ top ]
- No. All students will have their own school logo appear on their profile
- How do I contact an employer I’m interested in? [ top ]
- Some recruiters do not wish to be contacted directly. If available, contact information is listed on each employer’s profile.
- CAREER15 employers will have the opportunity to participate in live blogging sessions. Please check the Event section of this website for dates/times of these sessions.
- CAREER15 employers may respond to comments posted under their job/internship entries.

- How do I update my profile? [ top ]

- Each section has its own "Submit" button, click the corresponding "Submit" button for each section you update.

- How do I "Spotlight" my profile? [ top ]
- Student and Employer profiles will be spotlighted randomly (through the website’s underlying system) during the initial launch period. There may be opportunities in the future to spotlight profiles upon request.
- Can I control who sees my profile? [ top ]
- Student profiles can only be viewed by employers, not other students
- Employer profiles can be viewed by anyone registered to use the website
- What are the system requirements to play videos? [ top ]
- To play videos, you will need the Adobe Flash pluginis required.
- How do I report someone who is posting inappropriate comments? [ top ]
- Email the name on the profile to career15@vfic.org
- How do I follow CAREER15 on Facebook? [ top ]
- 1. Click once on the "Face Book" icon at the bottom of the homepage.
- Log into your Face Book account and request to become a fan of CAREER15
- How do I follow CAREER15 on Twitter? [ top ]
- Click once on the "Twitter" icon at the bottom of the homepage.
- Log into your Twitter account and request to follow CAREER15
- How do I join CAREER15’s LinkedIn group? [ top ]
